Kelsie and Chance’s June 12th wedding was held at the Stubblefield Chapel on the Oklahoma Baptist University campus in Shawnee.  I fell in love with this historic chapel as soon as I arrived, and photographed the building and all it’s details.  The crazy clouds we had that day sure helped!  The ceremony was brief, meaningful, and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family.  Kelsie made sure there was plenty of time between the wedding and the reception to give us the most time possible for their portraits.  More of my favorites are in a slide show here:  Kelsie + Chance

Lauren and Adam’s wedding ceremony was held  at the beautiful St. John’s Episcopal Church in Norman on February 6th and the reception was in the Oklahoma Memorial  Union ballroom on the University of Oklahoma campus.  Thanks so much for allowing me to photograph your wedding day!  A slide show with more of my favorites is here:  Lauren + Adam

I love weddings. Really, really love them and for so many reasons. And every so often I am privileged to witness something extra special. This is exactly what happened to me on Allison and Blake’s wedding day. Allison told me they wanted to see each other before the wedding and have a special private moment before doing their pictures together. She asked if I could be there when this happened. When the time came we cleared out the sanctuary and Blake waited patiently for Allison to make her way down to him. He turned around, and they embraced each other in a way that happens once in a lifetime (they reminded me of Wesley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride) They then exchanged their own personal vows to each other that nearly buckled my knees.
